Sporting Legends
BackKent County Council and the University of Kent brought together 50 of Kent's talented sports performers to recognise their successes and inspire the stars of the future.
They included former Olympian, 85 year old Reverend Nicolas Stacey, who competed in Athletics in the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki and the youngest sports performer, 13 year old Table Tennis player, Luke Savill who is a member of the England Youth Development Squad.
The event also included dance, music and song performances from young people. These Included the Tradlads Dixieland Jazz Group, based at Norton Knatchbull School Ashford, musical compositions from Max Buchan (Piano) and Matt Roberts (Cello), Ballet from Alison Clarke, Katie Marquis and Cookie Wild,Canterbury Academy Vocal Group and the Caroline Milsom and Joseph Hodges Dance Duo.
STL supplied full production services which included lighting, rigging, projection and audio (provided by Capital Sound).
