GAS FLAMBEAUX HIRE INSTRUCTIONS AND TERMS
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
STL Production Group specifically takes no responsibility for damage or injury caused by Flambeaux products incorrectly or carelessly installed or used. It is the responsibility of the hirer to establish that all possible safety precautions have been taken and to obtain, where necessary, both planning and fire department approval and to advise the relevant insurers. Any advice provided by STL Production Group is as a result of best practice and experience but cannot be taken as a guarantee for the correct or safe operation of the product due to the nature of the living flame.
Safety
The Flambeaux appliances are designed for EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
The Flambeaux is supplied with a set of installation instructions which should be followed closely.
To the user
· It is important to ensure that the flame is not positioned under any building overhangs or planting. Also, as the flame is real and fuelled using Propane, there may be some sooting, therefore consideration to light coloured stone building fascia’s should be taken.
· We recommend that when lighting the flambeaux, the operator uses a long gas match to ignite and has the gas bottle set to its minimum output setting.
· We advise that the gas level should not be set to maximum as this will produce a very large flame.
· When positioned the flambeaux flame can be controlled through simply controlling the gas flow by turning the valve located on top of the Propane bottle.
· The flambeaux has been designed to operate over a wide range of weather conditions. There are, however, extreme conditions where the burner will not work and this should be taken into account in the event of an apparent failure. Wind will reduce the performance of the flame.
Application Considerations
When considering the location of the flambeaux the following must be considered:
1. Avoid any building or feature with over hangs.
2. Avoid any location that is over looked by an open window within 2m of the burner.
3. Keep away from any flammable materials.
4. Keep out of reach of the general public.
5. Do not install directly below opening windows.
